Gustavo Nava

Is a leader in project management, affiliated with the Project Management Institute (PMI), and serves as a Lead Project Planner specializing in the development and construction of industrial projects. He has spent 20 years in the United States mentoring junior engineers in project management and planning across various engineering and construction projects. He has also served as a volunteer and benefactor for organizations such as the World Congress of Women Leaders, WEF Houston Texas, and WEF Venezuela.

He has promoted the professional growth of junior engineers from 2004 to the present and has supported the economic empowerment of Hispanic women in the United States and Venezuela from 2021 onward.

His recognitions include the EntreLideres Award 2025, the World Congress of Women Leaders Award in 2023, 2024, and 2025, and multiple acknowledgments as a benefactor and volunteer for WEF Venezuela from 2021 to 2025. He received the United States Capitol Award for Leadership and International Excellence in 2019. He has contributed articles to Liderex Magazine (2025–2026), EnterLideres Magazine (2023–2025), and has been a permanent contributor on LinkedIn (2025–2026).

His professional experience includes the design and fabrication of water‑treatment equipment (2004–2012), construction of offshore oil platforms (2012–2014), construction projects for Potash Corp (2010–2012), refinery development and construction in Texas (2014–2025), and the construction of paper plants in the United States (2025–2026).

He is recognized for his role as a benefactor and volunteer in the economic empowerment of women and for his contributions to the professional development of early‑career engineers.

His core values include excellence, responsibility, honesty, ethics, commitment, and empathy.

With 30 years of experience as a project manager, he has contributed for more than three decades to the fields of engineering and design, as well as to the well‑being, leadership development, and empowerment of women.
